Da die, in Südamerika beheimateten, Bären in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum als gefährdet gelten, wären Bärenbabys ein grandioser Erfolg! Bei den Alpakas hat es mit dem Nachwuchs bereits geklappt.
Die Tierpfleger haben alle Hände voll zu tun, trächtige Weibchen bei der Geburt zu unterstützen sowie die Jungtiere mit artgerechtem Kraftfutter zu versorgen.
